Sew-in Labels Help

EDIT: Found some at namemaker.com. Thanks!

It seems that I’m finally out of my “made by” labels that I sew into the hats I sell (good thing, they were a misprint but I got them so close to a craft fair that I just went with it). Do any of you have a treasured source for woven labels? Or any other suggestions for that matter? Part of me wants to try printing on fabric and making my own tags so that I can have more flexibility with fonts, and I kind of don’t want to have to choose between flowers or knitting needles on the side.

Thanks in advance for links and suggestions.

I keep meaning to ask Kerry at Practically Necessary because her labels are great. Here’s a post that shows it: http://practicallynecessary.blogspot.com/2007/09/connections-contacts-and-cows.html

my labels are from http://www.namemaker.com….they are woven, you can choose one or two lines, no knitting needles necessary. lots of color choices for words and background, too. the only hiccup is the turnaround time- about 4 weeks. you can get them iron on or sew on, too. hope that helps.

In the meantime you could print your own as a stopgap:

First of all, you have an eye for colour and contrast. I especially love how you can make geometric designs look warm. About the labels why not visit Nation Bright (http://www.nationbright.com.hk/) and give it a dekko. They make some really good eco-friendly designs.
